How to export from Avid

Go to File menu and choose Export.

Make sure it’s saving in the Fantom drive.

Name the file.

Press Options.

Export as: Quicktime movie

Select Custom, then Format options.

Under Video, choose Settings.

Under Compression type, choose MPEG-4 video.

Choose Best or High quality. Leave the other options alone.

Press okay. You’re back at the Export Settings screen.

Make sure to choose Video and Audio.

Width x Height: 720 x 486.

Color Levels: 601/709

Display Aspect Ratio: Native Dimensions (720 x 486).

Press save.

Then press save again.

The export process should start.
